RSVPCloud Seven welcomes French artist and filmmaker Pierre Jean Giloux for an evening around Biomimetic Stories, a video work and publication exploring possible urban futures shaped by ecology, technology, architecture and climate change.
The project brings together four short films set in India, imagining new ways of living and building in a world undergoing deep environmental transformation. Blending fiction, architecture and moving image, Biomimetic Stories reflects on how contemporary cities and societies evolve in response to ecological and technological change.
The evening begins with a 30-minute screening of the four films composing the Biomimetic Stories cycle, followed by a conversation between Pierre Jean Giloux and curator Gregory Lang around the project and the newly released publication.
The event takes place in resonance with the exhibition Is That All There Is? currently on view at Cloud Seven.
An opportunity to discover the work of Pierre Jean Giloux, meet the artist and continue the conversation informally over drinks following the discussion.
Free entry. Registration recommended due to limited capacity.
