On the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, and the eve of Brussels Pride, artists Daniel Nicolaevsky Maria and Lieven De Boeck discuss their socially engaged practice and performances. These works serve as an affirmation of their political commitment, incorporating elements of revolt and poetry.

During this conversation, we explore the social topics most prominent in the artistic practices of Lieven and Daniel and discuss the social prejudices that hinder their ability to fully realize their artistic potential and how to overcome these challenges.

In the context of the exhibition, A Private Affair curated by Bayo Hassan Bello.
