Starting from Kerr’s mixed reality work currently exhibited at Cloud Seven, the discussion explores how immersive technologies reshape perception, landscape, and embodied experience.
Through presentations, conversation, and an encounter with the artwork itself, the evening opens a dialogue between contemporary art and XR practices, reflecting on the ways technology alters how we see and inhabit the world.
The event will be moderated by Valère de Meeûs and followed by informal drinks at the Cloud Bar.

About the speakers
Will Kerr is an American artist and founder of Stoa Lab AI, based in Brussels, after having lived and worked in China for many years. His practice moves between figurative and conceptual approaches, with a growing interest in questions related to perception, mediation, and artificial intelligence.
The work currently presented at Cloud Seven combines painting and mixed reality, allowing viewers to rediscover a hidden landscape through their smartphone cameras.
Isjtar Vandebroeck is an XR practitioner and member of CREW Brussels, an organization internationally recognized for its pioneering work in immersive and experimental media. His practice focuses on embodied experience, perception, and the artistic potential of extended reality technologies.
