Artist Nicolas Kozakis and philosopher Raoul Vaneigem, who first met in 2000 at the Belgica Academy in Rome, collaborated on a decade-long film series from 2012 to 2022. Shown in parallel to the Brussels Art Film Festival, this powerful body of work merges Kozakis’s contemplative black-and-white videos of Greek landscapes with Vaneigem’s insightful texts, exploring economic and social inequalities, environmental challenges, and the mental strain of life under capitalism.

Developed independently around shared themes, the films offer a poetic yet critical perspective on modern anxieties, encouraging viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with human-centered values. This unique collaboration provides a profound lens on the urgent social, environmental, and existential issues of our time.
