film screening and artist Q&A

CLANDESTINE FUTURES

That which is above is like to that which is below, and that which is below is like to that which is above”.

“To all selves, there is a shadow self.  In all things alive, death lives within. To all reality, there inhabits a virtual realm. Real intelligence generates the artificial one and perhaps the roles reverse next”.

CLANDESTINE FUTURES is a proposition by artist and curator Taline Temizian at Cloud Seven. This immersive event includes film screenings and an engaging Q&A session with the artists Doug Haywood, Max Seeger, Martin Sexton and Taline Temizian.

The exhibition is complemented by a collective presentation of physical works by the participating artists in our art space. These works, along with the films, explore the complex fabric of our current time, marked by complexity and chaos.

The films, made using various new media and artificial intelligence techniques, aim to examine and analyze this unique moment in human history. They challenge and transcend the traditional constraints of time-space constructs and the limitations of linear time. By exploring other planes and dimensions, these artworks seek to redefine the evolving relationship between humans and machines, reaching into the mystical and beyond.

This event promises to be a thought-provoking journey that not only highlights the creative abilities of contemporary artists but also invites the audience to reflect on the profound and ever-changing interplay between technology, humanity, and the cosmos.
