Quentin L’helgoualc’h works across film, sculpture, and installation, blending technological themes with immersive, speculative futures. His work has been celebrated in exhibitions worldwide, often reflecting on humanity’s evolving relationship with technology and artificial intelligence.

Robin Touchard, a 2024 graduate of Le Fresnoy, creates films that blend sound, chaos, and cosmology. His work explores time, space, and the forces shaping our universe.

We are delighted to present two of their latest works. In these films, the directors take us on a journey to the farthest reaches of space and time, poetically questioning our relationship with the world. Since childhood, we have perceived the world primarily through sight—it is omnipresent. Here, the filmmakers subtly shift the camera’s focus towards sound, towards hearing. Quentin L’helgoualc’h begins his film with a reflection on our technological future, artificial intelligence, and a distant tomorrow. Robin Touchard, on the other hand, starts with a scientific discovery related to the Big Bang. Their films intertwine, creating a harmony, like notes coming together to form the music of the spheres.

And you—what sounds shape your dreams, your imagined worlds?

The screenings will be followed by a discussion with Frédéric de Goldschmidt.

Admission is free, but due to limited seating, reservation is required.
