The Catalan artist Teresa Estapé works in a liminal and hybrid manner between the disciplines of goldsmithing and the visual arts. Always using extensive research on the materials themselves as a starting point, she transposes iconic jewelry materials such as gold and diamonds into a conceptual framework that performs a sociological reading of identity and the capitalist dichotomy between price and value. Besides the three works that have been shown both in (Not) All is Gold and Glitterati at Cloud Seven, Teresa will share a series of works and creations that present the dual character of her body of work.
